Hello @Nico Kunzelmann!
Nico Kunzelmann recently joined the Freiburg Hub team. Nico is completing an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk and will support us in the area of marketing during his time at the Healthcare Hub Freiburg.
As a true digital native, he will primarily be taking care of our social media activities: This includes both our presence on Pfizer's internal social network Yammer, but also the planning and controlling of our social media activities. Nico will also be in charge of our online presence at the Freiburg Science Market.
We warmly welcome Nico to our team and wish him all the best for his time at the Healthcare Hub Freiburg!
A new face in our hub team in Berlin: Melanie Dening
Since May 15, Melanie Dening has been supporting our team as a working student. Melanie brings a very interesting perspective with her: She has intensively dealt with the question of success factors of digital health applications for an establishment in regular care – both in the context of her bachelor thesis and in her internship semester at Roche Pharma AG.
Melanie recently completed her bachelor's degree in health economics at the University of Applied Sciences in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany, and is now a master's student in the Health Care Management program. She will actively support us with her expertise and experience in the future.

The Start-up Navigator 2021: Contact points and funding programs for life science startups
The BIOPRO Start-up Navigator provides an overview of the contact points that support start-ups in the life sciences and bioeconomy sectors with all kinds of issues.
Startup offices at universities, life science accelerators, incubators, technology parks or financing and funding programs: Baden-Württemberg offers a wide-ranging network of players for startups in the life sciences and bioeconomy. The BIOPRO Start-up Navigator provides an overview of the contact points that support startups in the life sciences and bioeconomy sectors with all kinds of issues.
The Start-up Navigator therefore serves for startups and the entire startup ecosystem in Baden-Württemberg as a valuable orientation aid. Categorized and geographically subdivided, it contains the various contact points and funding programs for startup support in the state. The goal is to provide every life science startup with the appropriate contacts it needs for its specific questions and needs.

The 2020 Annual Review summarizes the important work Pfizer did in 2020. The approval of the breakthrough vaccine to prevent COVID-19 is certainly a historic milestone: amid the most devastating pandemic of this century, we brought hope to people around the world. While working on the vaccine we also continued to deliver for patients across all our therapeutic areas. This included seven regulatory approvals for either new medicines or indications – including treatments for colorectal cancer, cardiomyopathy and acute myeloid leukemia.
For the first time, this year's Annual Review also includes, an ESG report that highlights progress in environmental, social and governance areas – such as measures to address disparities and create a healthier and more equitable world for all.
