Over 100 applications for the CyberOne Award 2021: The evaluation has begun
Pfizer is once again gold sponsor of the CyberOne Hightech Award, the most important innovation prize for technology start-ups in Baden-Württemberg.
The award is aimed at teams of founders in the (pre-)startup phase, university spin-offs, project groups from research institutions and young companies with innovative and technology-based business concepts from startups in all technology sectors, such as software, multimedia or eHealth.
Being there is everything
Whoever is present at the CyberOne Award has already won: The CyberOne offers an ideal marketing platform to draw attention to one's own company, to build a network and to benefit from the know-how of other founders and experts. In addition, participants have the chance to win cash and non-cash prizes worth over €120,000.
Evaluation of applications has begun
More than 100 startups applied for the CyberOne Award this year, and the first jury meetings took place last week. Peter Neske, Innovation Lead, was one of the jurors for the Pfizer Healthcare Hubs Berlin and Freiburg in the two areas "Life Sciences" and "New Technologies". "Once again this year, innovations with a strong USP and clear development potential are included – a broad and exciting range of topics," says Peter Neske. More is not yet revealed. The final will traditionally take place at the HighTech Summit in October - we'll keep you posted on this!

The GROW program matches startups with companies – we are part of it!
Ready for this year's round: With the GROW program, the Smart Green Accelerator connects industrial companies from the green energy and green industry sectors with startups that have already developed innovative solutions and products.
Dr. Hans Zebner, Project Engineer Innovation at the Pfizer Healthcare Hub about the matching program: "Through the GROW program, we get early and fast connection to innovative processes and shape them in partnership with the startups and spin-offs to industrial suitability."
Innovative collaborations have already emerged from the GROW program in recent years, for example with perto or Mondas. In addition to Pfizer Healthcare Hub Freiburg, other participants include Elektrizitätswerke Schönau, Greenpeace Energy, and Naturstrom – we are looking forward to the solutions and faces of this year's round – finally at least partly in person in the unique atmosphere of the Lokhalle!
