Innovation & Entrepreneurship beyond borders: The first trinational startup event
Promoting cooperation and dialogue between startup ecosystems across national borders and strengthening the border triangle as an economic region - with these goals in mind, the most important representatives of the startup ecosystems from Germany, France and Switzerland met for the first time in Mulhouse on 26 April. From Germany, among others, the Grünhof, the SMART GREEN ACCELERATOR and we from the Pfizer Healthcare Hub were there.

What are the starting points for future cooperation? How can the individual ecosystems benefit from each other? And what could a joint startup strategy look like to make the region even more attractive and competitive for startups? In addition to getting to know each other in speed dating rounds, the participants worked out answers to these and to similar questions in workshops and talked about current challenges, especially the topics of Life Sciences and sustainable production were discussed many times.

The announcement for the CyberOne Hightech Award Baden-Württemberg 2022 is open: Innovative start-ups from all technology industries based in Baden-Württemberg can apply for the CyberOne Award until 27 May 2022. In addition to contacts to investors, business partners, other founders and valuable feedback on the business plan and business model, the first-place winners in the three categories Industrial Technologies, Life Science & Health Care and ICT & Media and Creative Industries can look forward to a cash prize of € 10,000 each.

Live from the 5-HT X-Linker: The most innovative digital solutions for doctors and patients
Today we are at the probably most important matching event for startups and pharmaceutical companies in Europe: the 5-HT X-Linker. Top-class startups from all over the world present unique digital solutions and meet potential cooperation partners in speed dating.
Digital solutions to improve the quality of life of patients
In the first part of the event, the startups gave insights into current innovations for the healthcare industry with 4-minute pitches: a tool for improving doctor-patient interaction, a platform for peer-to-peer interaction of patients and apps for monitoring treatments and tracking disease symptoms were presented amongst others.
Winner of today’s audience: mama health
Around 200 voters cast their votes for the best pitched solution: The audience award went to mama health, a platform for peer-to-peer interaction of patients, which was initially developed as a platform for COVID patients. Patients can share their story on the platform, exchange ideas with others and access the collected information from the community. Congratulations to the two founders!
We are now looking forward to exciting discussions with potential cooperation partners at speed-dating!

GROW 2022 - let's go into a new round!
The GROW program of the Smart Green Accelerator matches greentech startups with companies from green energy and green industry. We, the Pfizer Healthcare Hub Freiburg, are GROW innovation partners and are looking for startups that have developed innovative solutions for production and process optimization, for example in the areas of sustainable production and circular economy.
We are looking forward to a new round of courageous startups and innovative solutions – and of course to finding cooperation partners who will support us with well-thought-out solutions for our current challenges. In particular, we are looking for solutions for the following areas of innovation:
