The GROW program matches startups with companies – we are part of it!
Ready for this year's round: With the GROW program, the Smart Green Accelerator connects industrial companies from the green energy and green industry sectors with startups that have already developed innovative solutions and products.
Dr. Hans Zebner, Project Engineer Innovation at the Pfizer Healthcare Hub about the matching program: "Through the GROW program, we get early and fast connection to innovative processes and shape them in partnership with the startups and spin-offs to industrial suitability."
Innovative collaborations have already emerged from the GROW program in recent years, for example with perto or Mondas. In addition to Pfizer Healthcare Hub Freiburg, other participants include Elektrizitätswerke Schönau, Greenpeace Energy, and Naturstrom – we are looking forward to the solutions and faces of this year's round – finally at least partly in person in the unique atmosphere of the Lokhalle!

Hello @Nico Kunzelmann!
Nico Kunzelmann recently joined the Freiburg Hub team. Nico is completing an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk and will support us in the area of marketing during his time at the Healthcare Hub Freiburg.
As a true digital native, he will primarily be taking care of our social media activities: This includes both our presence on Pfizer's internal social network Yammer, but also the planning and controlling of our social media activities. Nico will also be in charge of our online presence at the Freiburg Science Market.
We warmly welcome Nico to our team and wish him all the best for his time at the Healthcare Hub Freiburg!
A new face in our hub team in Berlin: Melanie Dening
Since May 15, Melanie Dening has been supporting our team as a working student. Melanie brings a very interesting perspective with her: She has intensively dealt with the question of success factors of digital health applications for an establishment in regular care – both in the context of her bachelor thesis and in her internship semester at Roche Pharma AG.
Melanie recently completed her bachelor's degree in health economics at the University of Applied Sciences in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany, and is now a master's student in the Health Care Management program. She will actively support us with her expertise and experience in the future.

The Start-up Navigator 2021: Contact points and funding programs for life science startups
The BIOPRO Start-up Navigator provides an overview of the contact points that support start-ups in the life sciences and bioeconomy sectors with all kinds of issues.
Startup offices at universities, life science accelerators, incubators, technology parks or financing and funding programs: Baden-Württemberg offers a wide-ranging network of players for startups in the life sciences and bioeconomy. The BIOPRO Start-up Navigator provides an overview of the contact points that support startups in the life sciences and bioeconomy sectors with all kinds of issues.
The Start-up Navigator therefore serves for startups and the entire startup ecosystem in Baden-Württemberg as a valuable orientation aid. Categorized and geographically subdivided, it contains the various contact points and funding programs for startup support in the state. The goal is to provide every life science startup with the appropriate contacts it needs for its specific questions and needs.
