Meet the Hub Team
The complexity of quantum computing, sensing, and communication poses a challenge for individual stakeholders to achieve progress in isolation. Translating quantum research into market‑ready technologies therefore requires close collaboration between academic institutions, technology companies, research laboratories, start‑ups, and public initiatives.
In the context of a process optimization project, Peter Neske, Innovation Lead at the Pfizer Healthcare Hub Freiburg, has established a network in the field of quantum technology. In a short impulse talk, he will share his insights and key learnings, addressing the question of how diverse stakeholders can successfully collaborate to advance quantum innovation.
The session will be followed by time for questions, discussion, and informal exchange.

The future of health is digital: The Digital Health Conference 2025
On November 25, 2025, the Digital Health Conference will bring together leading voices from politics, medicine, and the digital economy. The central question: How can we achieve the consistent integration of digital solutions into healthcare? The aim is to discuss practical approaches to AI, electronic health records (EHR), telemedicine, and data security – and to jointly advance digital transformation. Pfizer is actively involved: Patrick van der Loo, Country President Germany at Pfizer, will speak about the role of data, research, and industry in the era of the European Health Data Space (EHDS).
The electronic health record (EHR) is live, the AI Act is about to take full effect, and healthcare is at the center of political debate. The Digital Health Conference serves as a platform for stakeholders from politics, industry, and startups to shape the future of digital healthcare and develop sustainable, innovative solutions for the many challenges in the health sector. Key questions include:
- How can digital applications be embedded in a sustainable, patient-centered way?
- What political and structural conditions are needed?
- How do we accelerate implementation?
Through keynotes, panels, and workshops, the conference will also present solutions to pressing issues such as workforce shortages, rising costs, and the integration of AI and Big Data.
- Where: KOSMOS Berlin, Karl-Marx-Allee 131A, 10243 Berlin
