Industry 4.0 at the trinational border: BE 4.0 Industries du Futur on November 30 / December 1
Two days dedicated to the industry of the future: The BE 4.0 Industries du Futur is the trade fair for business, discussions and innovation at the three borders: it’s all about transformation to industry 4.0. The focus of the 5th edition will be on Energy Transition/Green Growth, Supply Chain and Digital Innovation - which is especially interesting for us and or innovation partners.
The trade show-conference will give you precious insights of the trinational innovation-ecosystem and the possibility to learn from others with expert conferences, exhibitors' conferences. The event is also a platform to meet and exchange with industrialist experts and European transformation such as Edf, KUKA and Siemens via feedback, meet-ups, plenary conferences, B2B meetings, thematic paths, etc. The event will take place on November 30, and December 1, 2021.
Award ceremony i4Challenge and lecture by Anne Kessler, Director Manufacturing, Pfizer Manufacturing Deutschland GmbH
The i4Challenge aims to promote smart and innovative Industry 4.0 projects and services in the tri-national region. The award ceremony for the challenge will take place as part of the Salon Industries du Futur. In addition, Anne Kessler, Director Manufacturing, Pfizer Manufacturing Deutschland GmbH, will use the example of our Pfizer plant in Freiburg to show how new technologies and methods can create new production and business models.

The future of healthcare is digital: The Digital Health Summit on November 10 - 12
"The future of healthcare is digital. Let’s shape it now!” - that's the motto of the Digital Healthcare Summit 2021 which takes place from November 10-12 in Munich. Experts from Medicine, Academia, Startups, and Corporate will be discussing the the current status and the developments of the digitalization of the healthcare industry and develop joint visions.
Panel: Corporate Innovation in Digital Healthcare – What happens?
Ekaterina Alipiev, Innovation Lead of our Healthcare Hub in Berlin, will join Monika Rimmele from Siemens Healthineers, Jean Dietzel from Novartis, and David Braun from Merck to discuss digital health and innovation: What role will digital health play in the future for patients, healthcare providers, the pharmaceutical industry and medical technology? What are the factors for successful collaboration between large companies and startups? And what does a successful model look like for companies to foster innovative digital health solutions? The session will take place on Thursday November 11, at 10:30 am and will be moderated by Dr. Roman Hipp from Porsche Consulting.
The Digital Health Summit will take place in TranslaTUM in the very center of Munich. However, physical operation is fully booked but virtual participation is free and unlimited.

Hightech Summit on 19 - 21 October
At the Hightech Summit Baden-Württemberg 2021, the state's high-tech industry meets once a year to share their business experiences, report on lighthouse projects and best practice examples, and talk about digital transformation.
During the three days, expert sessions will discuss the topics of Mobility, Manufacturing, Media and Medicine (in the sense of Life Sciences). Likewise, innovative, technology-oriented startups that have gone through the process of the CyberOne Award will present themselves,

Among other things, we are involved in the topics Manufacturing (in Ulm) and Medicine (in Mannheim). We will also be present in Stuttgart for the award ceremony of the CyberOne Hightech Award, where the team from the Healthcare Hub Freiburg has already assisted in the evaluation of applications and the Entrepreneurship School in Breisach.

Innovation in the border triangle: The Trinational HealthTech Days on October 21/22
The Trinational HealthTech Days offer startups the opportunity to network with neighboring startups and establish contacts with funds, VCs and corporate investors. It also aims to give founders a better understanding of the specifics of the healthcare industry in order to strengthen their market access strategy.
The two-day event is hosted by the Strasbourg incubator SEMIA and the trinational life sciences & innovation ecosystem, including the startup initiative Startinsland, of which we are a member, and aims to connect innovative startups and the innovation ecosystems from Germany, Switzerland, North America and France, thus also promoting international collaboration in the field of healthcare technology.
We from the two German Pfizer Hubs will be there and look forward to the exchange!
