Innovation in the border triangle: The Trinational HealthTech Days on October 21/22
The Trinational HealthTech Days offer startups the opportunity to network with neighboring startups and establish contacts with funds, VCs and corporate investors. It also aims to give founders a better understanding of the specifics of the healthcare industry in order to strengthen their market access strategy.
The two-day event is hosted by the Strasbourg incubator SEMIA and the trinational life sciences & innovation ecosystem, including the startup initiative Startinsland, of which we are a member, and aims to connect innovative startups and the innovation ecosystems from Germany, Switzerland, North America and France, thus also promoting international collaboration in the field of healthcare technology.
We from the two German Pfizer Hubs will be there and look forward to the exchange!

Meet & Greet with Freiburg's startup ecosystem: First Tuesday on October 5
Every first Tuesday of the month, bwcon and the startup office of the University of Freiburg invite to a regulars' table at the Grünhof. Founders, people interested in founding, digital creators and numerous actors of the Freiburg entrepreneurship ecosystem will meet to exchange and network on October 5. The Hub Freiburg will be there to present our Healthcare Hubs in Berlin and Freiburg and their offers to startups in a pitch.

Peter Neske, Innovation Lead at Hub Freiburg will be on site to talk about opportunities and models for cooperation between startups, spin-offs and Pfizer. The Corona pandemic and the new legal framework for the digitalization of healthcare applications are massively changing the German healthcare system. The E-Health Salon on September 23 will highlight the most important aspects of the digitalization of the healthcare industry: the agenda of the networking event includes visions for the healthcare of the future, collaborations between startups and pharma as well as insights into innovative practical examples and much more.
- Where do the health insurance companies stand after Corona and after the politicians have set the framework conditions for digitalization in motion?
- What's next in terms of e-prescription, digital health applications and connected care?
- How can the partners from the technology industry, medtech, pharma and startup scene drive development forward?
These and other important questions will be highlighted at the E-Health-Salon. The event will take place on September 23 at the Wartehalle in Berlin. Participation is possible under the 3G conditions (Tested, Convalesced, Vaccinated).
Thorsten Mintel, Director Customer Operations and Kati Wegner, Teamlead Digital Marketing, will talk about which collaboration models of the future can bring innovations to patients without barriers and why strategic innovations between pharma and startups are important to succeed in the new market of health apps.
Ekaterina Alipiev, Innovation Lead at Pfizer Healthcare Hub Berlin, as well as Lorenz Winker, Manager e-Health and Innovation, will also be on site and look forward to a lively exchange with you!

The "Forum Healthcare industry 2021 Baden-Württemberg" is all about digital and biological transformation. Through presentations, interviews and discussions, the conference will provide insights into trends and topics in the healthcare industry of today and tomorrow.
As the central industry meeting in Baden-Württemberg, the Forum Healthcare industry is a driving force for medical technology, the pharmaceutical industry and biotechnology, diagnostics and research. The interdisciplinary event is organized by the regional subsidiary BIOPRO and focuses on cross-sector networking in the healthcare industry. The conference is aimed at companies in the biotechnology, medical technology and pharmaceutical industries as well as related sectors, research institutions, universities, clusters and associations.
