The future of healthcare is digital: The Digital Health Summit on November 10 - 12
"The future of healthcare is digital. Let’s shape it now!” - that's the motto of the Digital Healthcare Summit 2021 which takes place from November 10-12 in Munich. Experts from Medicine, Academia, Startups, and Corporate will be discussing the the current status and the developments of the digitalization of the healthcare industry and develop joint visions.
Panel: Corporate Innovation in Digital Healthcare – What happens?
Ekaterina Alipiev, Innovation Lead of our Healthcare Hub in Berlin, will join Monika Rimmele from Siemens Healthineers, Jean Dietzel from Novartis, and David Braun from Merck to discuss digital health and innovation: What role will digital health play in the future for patients, healthcare providers, the pharmaceutical industry and medical technology? What are the factors for successful collaboration between large companies and startups? And what does a successful model look like for companies to foster innovative digital health solutions? The session will take place on Thursday November 11, at 10:30 am and will be moderated by Dr. Roman Hipp from Porsche Consulting.
The Digital Health Summit will take place in TranslaTUM in the very center of Munich. However, physical operation is fully booked but virtual participation is free and unlimited.

Hightech Summit on 19 - 21 October
At the Hightech Summit Baden-Württemberg 2021, the state's high-tech industry meets once a year to share their business experiences, report on lighthouse projects and best practice examples, and talk about digital transformation.
During the three days, expert sessions will discuss the topics of Mobility, Manufacturing, Media and Medicine (in the sense of Life Sciences). Likewise, innovative, technology-oriented startups that have gone through the process of the CyberOne Award will present themselves,

Among other things, we are involved in the topics Manufacturing (in Ulm) and Medicine (in Mannheim). We will also be present in Stuttgart for the award ceremony of the CyberOne Hightech Award, where the team from the Healthcare Hub Freiburg has already assisted in the evaluation of applications and the Entrepreneurship School in Breisach.

The Trinational HealthTech Days offer startups the opportunity to network with neighboring startups and establish contacts with funds, VCs and corporate investors. It also aims to give founders a better understanding of the specifics of the healthcare industry in order to strengthen their market access strategy.
The two-day event is hosted by the Strasbourg incubator SEMIA and the trinational life sciences & innovation ecosystem, including the startup initiative Startinsland, of which we are a member, and aims to connect innovative startups and the innovation ecosystems from Germany, Switzerland, North America and France, thus also promoting international collaboration in the field of healthcare technology.

Meet & Greet with Freiburg's startup ecosystem: First Tuesday on October 5
Every first Tuesday of the month, bwcon and the startup office of the University of Freiburg invite to a regulars' table at the Grünhof. Founders, people interested in founding, digital creators and numerous actors of the Freiburg entrepreneurship ecosystem will meet to exchange and network on October 5. The Hub Freiburg will be there to present our Healthcare Hubs in Berlin and Freiburg and their offers to startups in a pitch.

Peter Neske, Innovation Lead at Hub Freiburg will be on site to talk about opportunities and models for cooperation between startups, spin-offs and Pfizer.
