The annual Frontiers Health Conference is one of the world's most important meetings for digital innovation in healthcare. This year it will take place from November 12 to 13 – with Pfizer as Gold Sponsor.
What does the future of the healthcare industry look like? The Frontiers Health Conference, which will take place from November 12 to 13 as a hybrid event in Berlin and virtually, aims to answer this question. They will discuss a pilot program in a rural community in the Dominican Republic, the role of drone technology in the digital healthcare ecosystem and its potential future applications.
Pfizer will also be joined by Thomas Kleine, Head of IT DACH, who will speak on a panel about the opportunities offered by the new German legislation on the prescription and reimbursement of digital applications.

Review of the DemoDay at BadenCampus
Since April start-ups have been working together with mentors at the BadenCampus-Accelerator to realize their business ideas – now the finals came up. On November 5th the DemoDay took place, where the participating start-ups pitched their innovations in front of a top-class jury, investors and business angels.
Before the jury's verdict, Peter Neske, head of the Healthcare Hub Freiburg, gave the participants impulses for cooperation between startups and corporations by reporting on current projects. Following, the winners of this year's DemoDay were announced: First place went to the startup Recyda, which produces the first global tool to rate recyclability. Furthermore, the startups MyCabin and ConstellR made it onto the winners' rostrum. The virtual event marked the end of the support program of BadenCampus, a state start-up accelerator and cooperation partner of the Healthcare Hub Freiburg.
