Entrepreneurship Roadshow: Knowledge from specialists and founders

During the tender, the bwcon Entreprenuership Roadshow will tour Baden-Württemberg. At the events, speakers impart practical start-up knowledge for business planning in specialist lectures and entrepreneurial experience reports. The dates can be found here: Entrepreneurship-Roadshow

Digital solutions to improve the quality of life of patients 

In the first part of the event, the startups gave insights into current innovations for the healthcare industry with 4-minute pitches: a tool for improving doctor-patient interaction, a platform for peer-to-peer interaction of patients and apps for monitoring treatments and tracking disease symptoms were presented amongst others.

Winner of today’s audience: mama health 

Around 200 voters cast their votes for the best pitched solution: The audience award went to mama health, a platform for peer-to-peer interaction of patients, which was initially developed as a platform for COVID patients. Patients can share their story on the platform, exchange ideas with others and access the collected information from the community. Congratulations to the two founders!

Our cooperation with perto on the subject of energy efficiency, but also the cooperation with mondas for the development of an IoT platform for safe drug production are real success stories that have emerged from the program and now have the opportunity to scale from Freiburg into the global Pfizer organization.

The focus of the program is on teams from technology fields in the field of microsystems technology such as sensors, actuators, 3D printing, robotics, printing and pump technologies, optics, AR/VR, in-vitro diagnostics, nanotechnologies or microfluidics.

In connection with artificial intelligence, radio technologies such as 5G or cloud computing, these technologies are elementary to create digital images of nature, machines, components, cities and traffic or the human body – and to convert digitally developed solutions into physical reality.
